Principal's Message

Hello Shaw Road Families,

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year!

I wanted to take a moment to let you know a bit about me.

This is my 10th year as a building principal and my 4th in the Puyallup School District. I have been in education for 22 years, and I have had the pleasure of serving as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, coordinator, and principal. I have a passion for ensuring that we truly know all our students, and that we celebrate their natural talents and gifts while also ensuring that all students achieve at high levels.

I have lived in Puyallup for the last few years. I am a mom to three wonderful boys who all attend schools here in the Puyallup School District. My oldest is a junior in high school, my middle son is an 8th grade student, and my youngest is a 3rd grade student. They keep me busy, but grounded, and centered in ensuring that our school is doing the best it can for every student.
