Principal's Message

Hello Shaw Road Families,

Welcome to the 2024-25 school year!

I wanted to take a moment to let you know a bit about me.

This is my 9th year as a building principal and my 3rd in the Puyallup School District. I have been in education for 21 years, and I have had the pleasure of serving as a classroom teacher, special education teacher, coordinator, and principal. I have a passion for ensuring that we truly know all our students, and that we celebrate their natural talents and gifts while also ensuring that all students achieve at high levels.

I have lived in Puyallup for the last few years. I am a mom to three wonderful boys who all attend schools here in the Puyallup School District. My oldest is a sophomore in high school, my middle son is a 7th grade student, and my youngest is a 2nd grade student. They keep me busy, but grounded, and centered in ensuring that our school is doing the best it can for every student.
